Graphic Design
The first step to good web and graphic design is knowing
your audience. You could
design the most beautiful and technologically advanced
site on the web, but if the audience for this site has
trouble viewing or navigating the site and never returns...what
have you gained?
That's where we come in. Before the first design idea
is "penned" in Photoshop, a design meeting with
our client will narrow down who the site is targeting.
Do you have overseas clients? What type of internet connection are they primarily using? Which operating systems and web browsers are they using? How technologically saavy are the visitors. The answers to these questions can greatly impact a site's design.
Creating a beautiful looking site is important, it lends value and credibility to a company. Whether that be informing the visitor about your company, the completion of an online order or allowing your sales staff access to documents remotely. Having a nice looking site design with intuitive navigation builds confidence.
If you would like to discuss these topics further, or if you already have a clear idea of your needs and would like to submit a (RFP) Request for Proposal, please do not hesitate to call us at or email your request to
Page Templates:
For customers who have staff familiar with HTML and
graphics Domino Media develops templated pages that
incorporate dynamic content and allow your staff to
up date your pages as needed using traditional HTML
development tools.
Web Based Content Management:
For customers who need the ability to maintain the content
on their site, but do not have the HTML or Graphic design
staff, we offer an easy to use Web Based interface that
allows you to change or add content to your website
using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface
similar to Microsoft® Word. This Content Management
System allows your staff to make changes to your site
and then submit those changes to a specific person or
group for review and approval prior to making them available
to the public.
Content Management System:
Using a database to store the data for your website unlocks the potential for virtually limitless expansion possibilities. An initial database of a couple dozen items could be expanded forever using only a web browser. Search functions, data calculations, e-commerce, and many other functions are immediately available on a database driven website. On the Web today, content is king. Any site that successfully attracts repeat visitors has to have fresh and constantly updated content. In the world of traditional site building that means tens, hundreds or even thousands of HTML files and constant updates.
With an effective database driven design, Domino Media can web-enable your existing product catalog, information store or document library. We can do this in an efficient and secure manner while making your content easily maintainable by non-technical staff.
